Counsels and assists international students on matters related to university life and the U.S. study experience, including immigration regulations, finances, employment, adjustment to the campus, and maintenance of student status. Processes non-immigrant visa applications, including school transfers, reinstatements, employment authorization, and change of status. Serves as cross-cultural adviser to other university units. Advises student groups and supports student activities and programs. Serves as liaison to local or state government agencies regarding issues related to non-immigrant students.

Bachelor?s degree and two years experience working with complex federal immigration regulations required. Demonstrated working knowledge in immigration regulations programming, strong communication and multitasking skills, and high energy needed. Must be a PR or US citizen in order to process SEVIS records. Master's degree and immigration experience in an educational setting strongly preferred. Immigration advising experience of international students strongly preferred. Include a Reference Section in your resume with contact information for three professional references.
